  • Thank you for this break down;

    It would also be great to know your opinion as to what time frames its best to use the pitchfork on to avoid false signals. Thank You.

  • I use the pitchfork in any timeframe, mostly in combination with Fibonacci price targets, to have an idea when that price target will be reached. Just looking at the 1 minute ES future now (Feb. 8), at 3:32 EST time, we had a crossing of the last pitchfork with the 2 last possible historical Fibonacci projections. So, it works even on a 1 minute chart. Important is that you look for a pitchfork that has an inclination in line with the previous price move.

    Best,

    Sylvain.

  • Wonderful.... You can also see "Andrews seminar live" on youtube.

  • MasterBlasterSteele, Andrews Pitchfork is an algorithm, so there is no timeframe boundary. Since it is takes some time to draw and make decision I w ould not recommend 1 min timeframe. however Andrews pitchfork can work on all timeframes.
