From my experience as a Macross collector, Yamato uses better-quality plastic on their Valkyrie figures. I own a Bandai VF-25S Armored Messiah, and the plastic they use is too glossy, not to mention that the factory-added decals don't stick well.

i really want to get a DX Chogokin, but then i have a question to ask, since imma be getting the limited one that is going to come out April 2012, This is a DX Chogokin, so this figure should have Diecast content in it rite? how many percentage of diecast metal present in this figure? thx :)

does the figure have waist rotation in robot mode?
-
Are you getting the new release one in October dude?
Also do you have the others? Ozma, luca and mikhail? Are they worth getting all the variations
-
what shop did you get it at
-
You didn't show us the crappy Gerwalk.

Hands down, Yamato made the best Macross toys ever. Bandai really learns a thing or two from their products, while Yamato made the crappy ones ( the Kanzen Henkei toys suffered from fragility and poor designs) back in the day, they sure have nailed the concept and line-art

The toy is made mostly of ABS plastic with the shoulder joints, ankles, hips, landing gear and parts of the feet made of diecast metal.

which has better plastic? yamato or Bandai 1/60s?
