Peter Bohush reviews Magic Bullet Looks from Red Giant Software. Read the written article at www.nefilm.com or www.writerdirector.com. Here I take a basic look at Magic Bullet Looks, a tool for color grading of video files. See also parts 1 and 2 for review of Magic Bullet's Colorista II and Mojo.

  • You need a platform called adobe after effects for this plug in. Go to adobe.com for this

Magic bullet looks is a plug in or extra effect that you have to buy separately for after effects. Go to redgiant.com for other plugins

Also go to video copilot.net for more great plug ins

  • Magic Bullet Looks will work as a plug-in in Final Cut Pro 7, FCP-X, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, Apple Motion and Sony Vegas. Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Thanks for the video. But how do you apply the same effect to all your clips without having to colour grade each clip individually?

  • In addition to RapperHolik's method, you can also open the clip with the Looks filter applied in your viewer window. Then in the Timeline select all the clips you want the new filter applied to. Drag the filter from the View window onto one of the clips selected in the Timeline and the filter will be applied to all clips selected. This works with any filter, not just MB Looks. Thanks for watching!

  • lol you sound like Mike Rowe from Dirty jobs =P

  • I like Mike Rowe so I'll take that as a compliment. Thanks for watching! More tutorials and links at facebook.com/WriterDirectors.

  • They are fantastic and render much quicker than the looks of the past. And of course the most important thing is they are available for Sony Vegas Pro in 64 bit.
