you used fake rock and coral :( not a wise call. When you use Live Rock it acts as a biological filter, aswell coral is soo much more vibrant and brings your tank to life.

well with the butterflys in there, it would be next to impossible to keep the coral alive considering it would be eaten.. and live rock dosent look good with out coral on it, so what he has done is in my mind is the pefect setup and the health of his fish also back it up that he is doing everything just fine.

good tank, but I do prefer amazonic tanks by the plants variety you can find to keep but i think saltwater are very good ones too but too much care and money but in the future may i would have one

i have a bowl with a fish and water in it :-)
I have an overkill filtration and bio system greater than that of the bio load ( number of fishes). The only thing i do is daily addition of water and a weekly 10 min glass cleaning. Water is then cleared by the filtration system. Hope it helps. Thank you for looking.

I used the old water trickle filter system, an old system but works well.
