What happened to KN episodes like this? Gordon really educating not just ripping it out of people, real scenarios, real people. This is great TV.

OMG how can they let him run a kitchen? hes never made an omelett and hes never really bought the ingredienses him self and he cant cook in his familys house, he looks as stupid as his burnt crutons

The poor kids parents have produced a fully delusional wannabe celebrity TV chef... he MUST be an only child... Like most young guys, he's having a serious life-changing epiphany that's going the either make him stronger or fuck him up - as in a nervous breakdown fuck him up -

I think people are way too hard on Mike. He was scrubbing dishes a few years ago. Yeah, Gordon totally exposes him, but Gordons a world renowned Chef. Give the kid a few years he should be ok.

May I clarify the definition of a shoemaker? My father uses this phrase to describe someone with no brains enough to do a simple job or figure a solution to something staring them in the face. I only get this message from context. Have I gotten the right idea that this is the phrase for an idiot/moron?
