Yes, you blow in the external microphone. It's supposed to emulate a real Ocarina, and I believe they did a stellar job of fusing such a whimsical and melodic instrument into a cell phone. Like I said, it's called emulation. For iPod touches, you tap the screen in a certain place to makeup for the non-present microphone. Have any other simple questions?

Yes, it is an amazing app. But really, they're showing how far you can take these things. Cell phones. Music players. They're now these... amazing instruments, and when played well, can create melodies worthy of concert. I thank Apple for allowing such innovation to be present, in such a simple device.
