An iPod Touch is not a cellular device, and therefore cannot be "3G".

However, the latest generation of iPod Touch's have a speaker, and this application should work fine.

the designation "3G" for the iPod touch denotes "3rd Generation" the newest released ipod touch. So the persons question is quite valid, yes, it works on the iPod Touch 3G (Third generation, recently upgraded internals, the one that was to supposedly have a camera included, but it fell through)
