What is Goalball?
This video gives a great outline of what Goalball is but just in case you miss it. In general Goalball is a sport for the vision impaired and blind. Goalball is a team sport where all players are blindfolded while they play. The ball is the size of a basketball and has bells in it. One team (of three people on the court at a time) will throw the ball while the other team will defend it from going over the back line they will then throw the ball back at the other team. A goal is scored when the ball crosses the back line of the court. Goalball is played at all levels, local, state, national, international and Paralympic.
