hmm dunno if my comment was posted or not.. but this is really interesting, i only heard of the name silverlight and thought the name was cool. it would be nice to get familiar with this.
im familiar with OOP with java, im not sure how similar it would be to silverlights OOP. looking forward in getting familiar with this along with pear. it would be nice to have familiarities with many technologies, maybe decide later to master it.

Silverlight is like flash. With the exception that Flash is written in mainly Javascript and is designed in Coldfusion Markup Language and Flash Markup Language I think. Silverlight is powered by any objec oriented language but mainly C#, but you could use PHP, Visual Basic, Python, Javascript, etc. Also, Silverlight is designed using XAML. I am going to get into all of this in the followup video, right now I am in the process of posting another PEAR PHP video.
