poplar dropping

this poplar was on the edge of a 20' bank. suspected it to be rotten, bored into it and was correct. rotten in the middle and doughty around the core, leaning hard down the hill. wanted to swing it to keep from breaking it during the fall. was leaning so hard it pulled the stump. didn't hurt the tree value and because i had to long butt it to clean up the rot. swung it just enough to take the edge off of the fall and save it out
