A little while ago while searching for information on Fukushima I came across a video made by a Japanese person with a Geiger counter. It was shocking because while official information could be found, it was really downplayed and they never showed the Geiger counter's display. It was really striking to see the Geiger counter's alarm go off in a normal outdoor area where people were going about their everyday lives in the normal citizen's video. I thought that it would be a good project to gather some of these videos together and place them together on Google Earth.

The Fukushima nuclear disaster is far from over and the true suffering has yet to begin as the true effect of the radiation on people's health will take years to reveal itself. The authorities (the Japanese government, TEPCO, IAEA, etc.) keep downplaying the situation and mainstream media has all but forgotten about it. Many people in other countries think that it is over. That is why I think it is very important to continue reporting and analyzing the information.

I invite the viewer to follow the links and closely look at the information for yourself. I think that the true nature of the situation will be easily apparently to anyone who examines the information that is available.

And whats worse is I feel like the whole world has forgotten. With asuperdry and you up there it gives me some hope the truth will come out. Yes it is an inconvenient truth so to speak but so is Leukemia. Everybody I know personally in Australia has forgotten about Japan. Actually it took a week to forget. They need to be reminded.

@lilnicky47 as u can tell by now,there was no people evacuating the coastal towns,because they knew that a 6.67 quake would not produce a tsunami.and look at the quake videos,thats NOT a 9.0!!

and anyhow by now everybody know the j-gov is lieing about everything.the tsunami was real but generated by something else

@lilnicky47 several earthquake centers some distance from the quake center registered numbers that were not censored and show by calculation that the fukishima quake was 6.67.u cant fake seismic waves and also the structural damage.fuki-had almost no major damage!apartment car parks with their skinny metal posts supporting the roof were still standing!!a 9.0 would have FLATTENED all fo the coastal cities,yet their was less damage than the kobe quake a 7.0.jimstonefreelance(dot)com

Very nice video! I have been sceptical of measurements done by amateurs, but in this case it's better than nothing. The media might downplay the problem of large amounts of fallout over Japan but a small army of geiger counters proves otherwise.

BTW, the rates shown on geigercounters (except from the one near the reactors) are much higher than normal but still quite low. There are places on earth with high natural background radiation up to tens of microsieverts/hour.
