The Poe Project is a trilogy of one-act operas inspired by the fiction of Edgar Allan Poe, commissioned by American Lyric Theater (ALT) with support from the New York State Council on the Arts and the ASCAP Foundation, currently in development at ALT.

All three operas in The Poe Project utilize the same performing forces: a cast of six singers (spinto-soprano, light lyric soprano, mezzo soprano, lyric tenor, baritone, bass-baritone) and a chamber orchestra of 18 players. The trilogy is intended to be staged as a full-evening entertainment, but each opera can also be performed independently.
