Yeah, it's a BMW diesel. 1.8 is based on honda engine. I don't know why people have so much problems with head gasket. I own one, it has 160k miles and it keeps going.I don't know what's wrong with V6. For me they only drink too much petrol :D

@crombieposterboy My dads 2000 Freelander 2.0D has 200000km on the clock (+-125000miles) and engine hasn't been changed. Not lying just to prove i'm right, it's true. But I must admit that the transmition was changed

ciao.....con il mio freelander ieri ho affrontato una salita dove alla fine c era un pietrone che on riusciva a scavalcare...dopo qualche minuto lo superato firando forte la prima ....ho aperto il cofano e c era una gra puzza di frizione.anche oggi si sente la puzza....secondo te lo bruciata?e volevo sapere se anche il tupo pedale frizione è molto duro e le marce staccano alte...è normale?ciao e graz

Ultimamente anche io con il mio ho cominciato a fare un po' di or, ma sento il dannati bisogno delle ridotte, oltre al fatto che il mio essendo lo sport è anche più basso e rischio molto di più!
