Pakhtoon, the champion of bravery and peace has a very ancient civilization.

So far as Pakhtoon culture is concerned, it is thousand years old.
Narrator
Pakhtoon culture is undeniable even after the passage of thousands of years.

In history Pakhtoons are known as the warrior nation. They have spent most of their times in wars. It does not mean that we Pakhtoons don't have the creative and aesthetic sense.
Narrator
Fine art is a beauty that reflects the aesthetic sense and recognition of a race or nation. The Pakhtoon culture has its own taste and identity that is specific in its fine arts and literature.

Hujra is a very important part of Pakhto culture from where very good stories have generated.

These stories include Adam Khan-Durkhanay, Jalat Khan-Mahbooba, Yousaf Khan-Sherbano, Fateh Khan-Rabia and Musa Khan-Gulmakay.

Pakhto romantic culture and tradition is very rich with highly valuable traditional values.

If we abbreviate the word Pakhto, then from "P" we mean Pat [honour], from "Kh" Khegara [welfare], from "T" Tora [sword] and from "o" Wafa [loyalty].

It is generally assumed by some people including foreigners that we Pakhtoon are narrow minded. We enjoy normal cultural activity with full bloom. Our cultural activities like local dances are very beautiful. Our marriage ceremonies are very charming. People wear attractive dresses. Our culture is very rich.

Artist has a great responsibility in the society. He/she can take many benefits from his/her art by its proper utilization. The artist has the capability which is not possessed by everybody. Everybody cannot create things but artist can do it due to his/her inner capabilities. Artist can see beauty in an ordinary thing and can show it to the world in his/her own style.
Narrator
There is no scarcity of such artists who are using fine art as a romantic and sensuous tool in different fields of life. One may guess to see the fine art of the artist that it was enrich with regional and traditional values. Each and every aspect of this culture is pretty attractive and unique in its character. Every artist enhances the attraction of Pakhtoon culture with its own approach.
