President Bush held a meeting at the whitehouse today in efforts to pursuade congress, the banking committee, and both presidential nominees to push the 700 billion dollar plan through congress. Well...the people have spoken..90 to 1...Are against this bill without major reform! Thank God!

  • They are robbing us blind

  • Remember the timing of this... I still think it was an attempt to get Mccain elected, which clearly backfired!!

  • Obama continues this.

  • yeah they should have never passed da bill..but they did..n now they sayin dat now they gettin da money dat they gunna b spendin it da way they want..

  • Everyone talks about a billion dollars as if it were 'Chump Change' Just a fact: If you were to spend $1,000 a day EVERY day since the time Jesus was born till today..you still would not have spent $1,000,000,000!

  • So the 700+ billion dollar bailout has passed but where the hell did it go?!?! bush said the bill had to pass and quikly but after it did now all of a sudden bush says "well it's going to take time." War Criminal!

  • I agree but obama is still the better of the 2 for a chance at taking down the greed machine and uniting the people.

Mccain is invoking terror in the united states.

  • obama is not he answer. ron paul revolution!

  • Great job on your commentary. I absolutely agree with you! Too bad the Congress did end up passing the bailout plan after all. And then to add insult to injury, they even raised the price tag to taxpayers by another $150 billion. And we still lack a clear explanation on why this bailout was "necessary" and how it will help average Americans, if at all.

  • fear?I'm pissed!not scared I thing most people are pissed off not scared
