If youre thinking about making the change from Deltek products to Axium, here are a few technical points you should know about. Although you will need to migrate your data, you will also be given a clean slate to utilize all the features with the new technologies Axium has to offer. You will not be tied down to your old ways and bad habits that kept you from going up a level in automation. What I mean is that hanging on to your security blanket of "data" is not always the best business decision.

Axium offers a simple to use, real time interface that may be a better match for those wanting to keep things simple. Its design is superior in many ways to other accounting systems in respect to the day to day operations. And in many AE firms that is the priority when operating accounting. Also, if you were not utilizing project management in your legacy systems, it is most often because of unhappiness with the design interface or from the lack of having real time data.

It takes a lot of dedication to change software, but it can be well worth it if youre up for trying things a new and simpler way.
