@LKSPR13 Why are you going to hear about characters of a show that's ended? I'm assuming you meant that you didn't hear much about Lex in season 8-10. Which isn't true. Even without Michael Lex was still a very heavy presence. Right to the point that Michael returned in the finale. Even Lionel was able to come back in season 10. You say they had horrible ratings and doomed Friday night slot and yet they survived their last 2 years on it just fine. And Clois rushed? 7 years is rushed?

@Luckiegurll No. YOU'RE wrong. That is exactly why the Lana Lang, Lex Luthor, and Lionel Luthor characters left. and we've haven't heard of them much since the show has ended unfortunately. Plus, season 8 and 9 were horrible ratings failures and placed in the doomed Friday night slot. The characters never matured and they rushed the Clois storyline way too much.

I had liked for Lana to keep the powers and Clark & Lana to develop

together in a mature relationship. I mean at that point in the show it

was long,long,long overdue that they have a good relationship in every

aspect. But the showmakers just used them as tools for melodramatic

effect. Which is sad.

@yesyesohyay10 And that is why I thank God that AlMiles quit Smallville. When they left the show got better and Clark's character finally progressed. Clark's basically Superman without the suit. Of course, if you're not a Clark fan you wouldn't understand. Like I said. I can't take you serious at all as a shipper or as a viewer. Why do you want a character you hate with your heroine? It doesn't make sense. But then again, nothing about this convesation does. *Goes to watch Prophecy promo again*

I'm saying that the original idea was for them was to actually get engaged and Lana to know the secret, this was when they were planning to finish Smallville in five seasons. Obviously the wedding wouldn't have happened. The last scene would probably involve Clark saying goodbye to all his loved ones and moving forward.

It isn't exclusive to Clark, I dislike most if not all SV characters now. Clark get's more flack because he's supposed to be superman, he's awfully stupid.

@yesyesohyay10 First of all, I'd expect you to hate on Lois, cause that's probably like breathing for you but hating on Clark makes me go WHAT THE WUCK!! I'm not going to sit here and try to shove reasons why Clark and Lois belong together down your throat. The show does a spectacular job at showing the audience. But I can't take a shipper who hates on one half of their "ship" seriously. Why do you want Lana with Clark if you obviously don't like Clark? And with that... I'm out.

@yesyesohyay10 You realize Clark and Lana got engaged in one episode and it was retconned in the same episode? So are you saying that Smallville should have ended half way through Reckoning? And can you tell me why Clark never proposed to Lana again, despite how "happy" they were in season 7? Another thing, the happy Clana ended early. In fact, in Reckoning Clark decides to propose to Lana solely because he feels he's losing her. It's an act of deperation on his part.

I have to ask if you're actually watching this scene or the one in siren, where they have pretty mature conversation about trust. and move on. At least it makes them seem more real as a couple, rather than the fake, perfect, lightswitch that's too good to be true with Clois. What's worse is Clois is exactly the same as Clana with the only difference being Lois found out the secret quicker and Clark had to be shown the future to risk taking the leap and stop lying. Clark's a dick.

Of course she can't deal with the truth when he looks at her like he's scared of her and doesn't show any affection at all. Any girlfriend would want to know what's up if they suddenly changed personality...like after he came back from the dead.

Smallville was supposed to end in season 5 with Clark and Lana getting engaged you know. They changed it because the ratings boost in episodes that coincided with happy clana. That's why we got those absurd episodes at the end of 5.
