  • @MrMattCottam, it depends on what you plan to do. The Fury is better for all-purpose winter because it has two walls, a vestibule, and works fine in any season. The EV2 has one wall, is for winter only, and has no vestibule, but is lighter and packs smaller- it's better for multi-day trips where weight matters more. For New England, I'd recommend the Fury. If you have the extra cash, though, the Hilleberg Jannu is well worth it.

  • Would you choose this MSR Fury or the Mountain Hardware EV2 for winter in New England? (was thinking about EV3 in order to fit two guys and some winter gear. Can you recommend?
