  • Did you use the stock transmission?and it did it bolt right up? I have a 5spd in my 97 chevy 1ton trying to figure out if I can keep the stock tranny with the 12valve swap.

  • @TxBigRyan I believe Rob used an nv4500 for the build which was made for dodge and for chevy with just a different input shaft,he just snapped the input shaft or the t case went to hell you will need the cummins bellhousing for the nv4500 trans also but if you go to Robscoalroller there is a video of the trans and a disription of it he will be doing a new video coming soon on it but he has to get his 454 5 speed truck running 1st its his daily driver

  • @Needmorehorsepower what size input shaft is rob using in the suburban? I know the input shaft and bearing retainer are Dodge.

  • @1988diesel I think he had the trans split and the dodge input shaft installed i will have to have Rob answer about the bearing retainer

  • Cool build I'm doing a 97 suburban with 10 inch lift and solid axle swap and an nv 4500 wit a divorce mount np205, any tips you can offer.

  • @RollinSmokeHigh This was built by my buddy rob his channel is Robscoalroller his camera was lost and i did all the down loads so i posted this on my channel from my camera after the build was complete you can try and put a post on his channel and he will answer you there im sure of it there is a link on my channel to his channel good luck with the project :)

  • '92 93? I think. round steering column. u can do my white Phoenix one next!

  • Txbigryan, you can use the 97 nv4500 you just have to put a dodge input shaft and bearing retainer in it. I will try to make some video of mine when I pull it back out of there. I will be rebuilding both the transmichigan and transfer case while they are out.....again :(

  • Hey im pretty sure I used the 1.25 inch 10 spline input shaft , just broke it monday so I guess im goin to a billet input shaft. Only advice good luck , take your time, and be patient! Its so worth all the elbow grease and blood haha!

  • @Needmorehorsepower I'm gonna have to have a case of that pretty soon... I have a lot of videos filmed but in need of uploading
