Frazier Rehab Patient Dennis Bessenecker Recovers From a Brain Injury

In February of 2002, Dennis Bessenecker was renting two homes and living in his car. One morning a neighbor found him unconscious in his car and called EMS. Suddenly his unusual behavior made sense when a CT scan showed an enormous tumor over the frontal lobe of his brain. After a successful surgery to remove the tumor, Bessenecker awoke to realize that he had lost about eight years of his life—the last year he remembered was 1993.
