Karl Faase tells of a great teaching moment from an old(ish) film.
He says: Remember in 2000 there was a movie released called Billy Elliott. It's about a coal miner's son Billy who was sent down to the local youth club to learn to be a boxer, but he really wanted to do ballet which was more than a little strange for his coal mining Father!
The movie unfolds that Billy eventually tries out for the Royal School of Ballet in London. A very interesting picture it is too! Here he is in this traditional old room with polished floor boards and high roof and this panel of aristocratic (and wealthy looking) judges watching him try to dance. It was a exciting, passionate, inspired dance but he didn't seem to have that much skill.
Anyway, he comes to the end and he and his Dad are asked a some questions. Just when he's about to leave one of the panel says to Billy; 'Billy, before you go, what does it feel like to dance?' And Billy Elliott thinks about it for a minute and he says; 'It feels like electricity'.
A very interesting statement isn't it? When was the last time something felt like electricity for you?
Perhaps this is a good clue about where your passion might lie.
You know for me the search to start "finding your passion" is the step towards doing what we are really designed for in life. This search leads to the greatest possibility for fulfillment here on earth... What do you think?

Not all people have special skills!
The art of life is to walk moderately through pain and victory while observing life from outside.
We must strive for more but be content with the given...
