Created as a little "Stocking Stuffer" for the Star Trek Phase II fans who wait so patiently between episodes, Gravity Arch Media presents a fan film inspired by Star Trek Phase II...

"1701 Pennsylvania Avenue"

President Nixon just loved to secretly record everything that occurred in the oval office.

Phone calls, personal and political conversations, meetings. Everything got recorded on audiotape.

But what happened on a very special night in 1969 when President Nixon forgot the tape recorder was recording?

His secret service detail, Agent Smith, has the dubious job of keeping the president's imagination on the ground:

"And I thought Johnson was a handful!"

  • Cute guys, although it should have been Nixon with a built AMT Enterprise (long box version) and maybe one of those old disk firing phasers instead of the newer Art Asylum and Diamond Select toys. ;)

  • @JMChladek There's a story behind that... to summarize (hopefully accurately), the toys were provided by Diamond Select. :-)

  • @anthonyheaney2008 We do what we can...

  • @PonyHorton Hi Pony, firstly let me say i love this little gem i really did and well done on keeping genes dream alive, secondly it was just a general observation even if it hasn't anything to do with this episode, and i know the cue about getting actors when you can get them i am one my self but im just after some consistency as i love your show and just when i get used to one actor another comes along.

hope you didn't take my comment too offensively. Keep up the great work.

  • @PonyHorton It's OK, Dick was a Lieutenant in the US Navy....

  • When the president does it, that makes it legal.

  • @PonyHorton I know all of that. I wasn't really talking about this fan series... I just really mean that PHASE II is a clunky name. In 1976 or now! Like if they brought back ST:TNG to TV and called it "Star Trek: The Next Generation Phase II"... I just think it's dumb sounding.

  • @PonyHorton I realise the budgetary and manpower resitrictions entirely, my friend. When you're in a tight spot, you make do with what you have. It just really seemed to fit with Bashir and O'Brien's dialogue from "Trials and Tribble-ations", is all.

That alll being said, this made me laugh for days on end. Especially his special beaming pose, and the whole "NOT WATERGATE!!!" section.

  • @shirak8 Thanks for the complements about our work!

True, I wrote a lot of jokes in this film that'll only be funny to those who remember Nixon's terms pretty well (those of us over the age of 50), or to historians.

But, I don't make movies to appeal to the widest audience. I make movies that I want to see but have not yet been made until I make 'em!

I can only please myself as an artist, while also HOPING the work pleases others as well.

  • @CharlieMRealist1953 It was a Method Tribble, and a Union Member at that!
