Kiki, my African Lovebird is with me since 27th August 2007. Over these few months, she manage to master the tricks that i taught her. I've conducted a mini test for her, and she manage to perform all the 5 tricks well. The tricks are:-
1. Up / Down Command
2. Turn A Round Command
3. Nod Command (Nodding Head)
4. Fetch Command (Fetching/Retrieving)
5. Wing Command (Wing Flapping)
lol she's so cute!

@proviewsg umm i'm not exactly sure but she's a fancy lovebird.
no matter what i do i cant really teach her any tricks tho... so far she only gives kisses and flies onto my finger from her perch..
she's still a bit afraid of being petted tho, do you know how i could teach her to stop being afraid of hands?

@golenargiss Actually you can try approach her with some tasty treat like millets holding in your hands. Give her sometime to approach your hands for the treat. Lovebirds generally are seed junkies and they love millets. Be patient. By continuing doing this routine everyday will help condition her with your hands. Good luck ;)

I can be as short as 10-15minutes or it may stretch up to 1weeks for the lovebird to learn and master the behavior.
