I just love the atmosphere at the matches in Argentina. The drum beat is infectious. In this match G y E are losing 2-0 at home to Estudiantes and are in deep relegation trouble. "You're not singing anymore" doesn't apply here. Notice the fans with puffed-out cheeks - they are chewing coca leaves. This is said to counter the effects of altitude sickness though here it is not much higher than 1100m above sea level. See www.justgiving.com/davidoldbury for more details of my Argentina football tour.

it is sad.
I live in america (was born here). I support west ham through and through.
I have been to West Ham, Alianza Lima (Peru) and MLS games.
Was in the terraces for Alianza Lima (FUCKING AWESOME), sit behind the net for MLS (although there are seats) EVERYONE stands and sings for 90 mins.
Upton Park - boooooooooooorrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggg. And i love west ham more than my MLS Club and Alianza Lima

This is great. Shame the atmosphere at games in football's homeland (England) has been totally destroyed and surpassed by pretty much every other country - even including the MLS in America :(
