You've heard of a cat caught in a tree, well an Arizona kitty was perched on top of a giant saguaro cactus for as long as 3 days before finally coming down on its own. (Nov. 11)

@ashokrayvenn I recently saw a Vid of a cat 70 feet up an Oak tree. Firefighters were finally called in and brought up a ladder. Rather than be touched by the Firefighter, the cat was CLEARLY shown to jump off the tree limb, (70 feet from the ground).
It hit the ground, and within a split second, it was off and running at top speed. I would not worry about a cat on a 15' cactus. When it 's thirsty it will jump uninjured.
My own cat often jumped SIX feet on his own "steam" and he enjoyed it.
