  • Apparently inspired by Hank Mizell's 'Jungle Rock', which was available long before it became a hit, in which sundry animals get together to dance. The Ring Dang Doo is a mythical creature, which Hank says was 'moving' with the elephant!

  • Great band who looked like they enjoyed the music---thanx Sam!!

  • Fabulous...don't hear this one often...and I can't ever remember seeing a performance till now...thanks for all these gems...

  • I haven't heard this song since 1972. Thank you for uploading the video for this very, very rare song.

  • Actually that 3rd line should read: It gives great joy to feel such sweet togetherness.

  • Sam reminds me of Daley Thompson, same cheeky smile. Those girls dance like my sister. Problem is, she was doing it 20 years after this. Still, the point is they had fun then, unlike the vice-held self-conscious posing that passes for dancing now. Maybe Bob Marley expressed it best. "Love to see when you move with the rhythm/I love to see when you're dancing from within/Good to see such sweet togetherness/Everyone doing, and they're doing their best." Exactly.

  • Wow, talk about a rare video. Sam didn't look like the Sham and the Pharoahs were no more. And you have to love those goofy go-go girls!!
