@SkullCowboy333 Hey, since you enjoyed this movie as much as me, I figured I'd ask you for some recommendations. Some of my 'not main stream' faves are 'Cube', 'Pin', 'Dark City', 'Nemesis’ (Albert Pyun) and 'Deep Blue Sea'. I know thats a mix of genres and include 'b-movies', but I'm always looking for something that speaks to me as I watch it, like these movies did (and Dust Devil, natch)
Care to share some flicks that have a special appeal, something I might like as well?
@Scubalot Agree with you. For me it was the mythos of the Nagtloper and the occultism that also did so much for as well as the sexuality so well used. The song is by Hank Williams. Its rare to find a fan of the film.
@SkullCowboy333 Couldn't agree more.... absolutely LOVE this movie. Stumbled across it over 12+ years ago, picked it up almost at random, and its been one of my fave horrors ever since.
SO many scenese in this movie rock my world...
Couldn't list them all. This movie has 'it', as far as what I look for in a movie. Beautiful scenery, good story, GREAT ambience, and so many beautiful sequences.
That scene where he's dancing to that Will Rogers (?who is that song?, 'Rambling man'??), awesome.
No matter how many times I see that sequence of the film, it still brings goosebumps to me.
Something about the cinematography, the music (and the radio sequence in the background) and the filming via the helecopter etc, it just is too amazing for words.
I know its a horror movie (and a damn fine one at that) but that scene there is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, and sticks with me no matter how many times I've seen this flick...
thanks for post this!! I love this movie and Robert John Burke is my favourite actor,He's great and so damn sexy!!! :-D

@SkullCowboy333 Just to ensure I have the right ones you mentioned, while searching on imdb...
Animals, about a down and out drifter, finding a 'sub culture' to explore.
Pale Blood, about a 'pseudo vampire' bringing unwanted attention to others.
Revelation (2001?) about a wooden artifact that has been fought over for hundreds of years.
These the ones?
Thanks for your time. :)
