Minor-league Mississippi Braves manager Phillip Wellman was ejected from this game June 1. After kicking dirt on home plate, he draws out the umpire's strike zone in the dirt. Then he takes 3rd base and tosses it in the outfield. Then he belly crawls to the mound, and tosses the rosin bag at the umpire. Finally, he takes 2 bases and walks out.

@msk7046 I was a batboy for the MS braves. This man was FOR SURE on drugs.... I really know this for sure. A man named Kent Willis was the pitching coach at the time that Phil was managing and he was buying coke from parking lot ushers before the games.... These are facts.

The man was on drugs. Seriously. I believe he is now a hitting coach for the Cardinals AA organization after two stints in rehab in 2008 and 2009. (He was let go from the Braves organization)
