Just how heavy is that wheel? By the way, I wouldn't mind working behind the scenes on a show like this. Anybody hiring?

@1958boomergirl the wheel is made of plywood so that puts the total wight of just the wheel itself at around 400ish pounds so its pretty heavy and not too easy to spin. I'm not sure if anyone is hiring but you can try to call the studio and ask if there are any openings available. hope this helps :)

Its heavy as all be.  Take it from a big guy who spun it on 4-10-2008.

I miss the old school look of the big wheel on The Price is Right, like the red flashing lights on either side of the wheel, along with the classic dollar signs on the red background on either side of the wheel, what they should do during the summer vacation is replace the whight flashing lights with different color flashing lights, like red, blue, gold, white, and green, that might look cool to have multi colored flashing lights on the big wheel.
