Why not, instead of making a video that skips around and shows the art from different angles, why not make a Walk-Through as an HD video here on YouTube? Then everyone can see all the art from the proper viewing angle and not be required to be close enough that they can see it. Use the internet to the fullest potential, it isn't like it cost money to host a video here. ;)
I hope this comes to Seattle ... the Frye Gallery would be the perfect place for it... or there are a lot of other free to cheap admission museums, which I think SHOULD be the focus... since it's trying to break barriers through technology. Great work, and I love that there are all ages of kids involved... THAT is critical and excellent.
I'm not just saying this because I submitted an entry, but I noticed that several of the finalists were not that great, nor did they have original ideas.

I love Google products, and I believe that Google's corporate ethos is one of the best around. They do good things.
But this video makes me uneasy, and I bet I'm not alone. I believe there should be a firewall between corporate P.R. and kids.
In short, this pushes a brand to kids, and that shouldn't be acceptable at the Smithsonian.
You can argue the benefits, but it's a slippery road.
