Shattered Lives- Montgomery County was established to give teenagers a glimpse into the effects of drunk driving. Each year, schoo Shattered Lives- Montgomery County was established to give teenagers a glimpse into the effects of drunk driving. Each year, schools that participate in this program set up staged 'wrecks', then allow the students to watch as the kids in the wreck get treated. Some are flown off in a LifeFlight helicpoter, some are rushed off in an ambulance, and some 'die' on the scene. PLEASE NOTE: all videos can be viewed at their original website: http://www.shatteredlives-montgomerycounty.com and are available for download there. No one is actually physically injured in the making of these videos.

  • i cried

  • wow as an ex firefighter/paramedic i gotta say u couldnt have a done a better job of showin everything everyone that was in it did a good job i just wish they would get out there more than just on utube so all teens can see this and hopefully think twice before drinking and driving

  • @drummfreak22 i like how you go gay on me there, but when someone thinks of "death", they don't think of Jesus or an angel. You really want one of those to represent death? Yea it's good the way it is.

  • @claw9160 You say no offense and then proceed to calling me a dumbass? Obviously it represents death. It's the whole idea of being taken away from the world and I just think that an angel would be more of a comforting thought rather than the grim reaper. No need to get your panties in a bunch.

  • @drummfreak22 no offense, but it represents death you dumbass

  • @Drumm: It's a PUBLIC Highschool. No religion is allowed to be affiliated like that. Death is commonly seen as the Grim Reaper, example: the christmas carol, family guy, and a lot of other shows/stories.

I was in the 2009 The Woodlands HS show. It was amazing, I hope they continue to do it for many years to come.

It is very emotional and informative to the students, teachers, and the parents as well as the community.

Keep up the good work Shattered Lives, by the way your site is MIA.

  • The grim reaper??? I think they should change that to an angel or jesus or something

  • Im a middle schooler here in magnolia and I know alot of these kids. This is a very emotional thing for the school, my neighbor was one of the ones who 'died' in the car accident. She had her face painted white with the black eyeshadow and had to walk the school as a living dead. I can't imagine how sad it is.

  • As a Parent of a student at Magnolia West High School. I am very happy to see this program make it to MW.
