  • She is such a sweetheart! And she is full of great advice and she's doesn't make you feel foolish. I can tell because of how she talks about helping people out if they bring in something they have a problem with. I wish I lived near that store !!! Thanks for sharing that with everyone!

  • I have all different types of crochet hooks. I find the crystal expressions hooks work best for me. I made handles out of sculpey oven back clay for my thin metal hooks though to make them easier to hold and work with.

  • I am new to subscribing to this channel. Great stuff. I have all kinds of hooks. Susan bates, clover, boye and some old school susan bates from the sixties I got on ebay. When I was in New York for a trip. I went to Smileys yarns off of jamaica ave. I took the subway there. I bought a whole bunch of yarn at their great prices. I always go to joanns, michaels,ac moore, walmart and even thrift stores and buy yarn on clearance. I have so many boxes of yarn. lol

  • I stab people too!

  • haha i also crochet like i am stabbing someone!! lol

  • I love the bamboo crochet needles they are comfortable and they feel light weight and have the sturdiness i need when i crochet. i think there absolutely fantastic

  • I love "yarn lady", she's adorable. I LOVE the crochet hooks she is showing you by Clover, I've tried them all and these feel like "butter" in ypur hands. i, too, hold the needle like you do Mickie. Please try them, you will not go back to the others.

  • I use the Susan Bates Bamboo hooks as well as just Bamboo Hooks they are so easy to use and the comfort zone is great. I use my hook like a pencil and found that works for me. It is so neat to see a lady like Phyllis who helps her customers out they will remember and be back to buy because she is so gracious. God Bless her. Thank you for sharing.

  • mike i use the bamboo and i believe i once put a video up here showing my bamboo crochet hooks they are light to handle and work great then also i like susan bates crochet hooks i purchased at lens mills

  • I got my bamboo crochet hooks from ebay. a set of 11 or 12 was about $24.00 with shipping. (Different sizes)
