I am a teacher and NZEI (NZ education union) activist in Auckland.
Militant teacher Adaire Hannah gave an awesome talk at this rally against adult education cuts.The walk-out and rally led by Wellington High workers offers an example of the type of radical action needed to fight the current attacks of the governement and employers. Lobbying and petitions, the favoured methods of NZ union officials, are not enough.
