Northbound Virgin Pendolino speeding through Rugby at well over 110mph. At Rugby its pretty incredible the way 390's and 221's just appear from the south. With no warning not even a sound until 1 speeds out of the tunnel, up a fairly steep climb at full tilt and speed, then shoot through Rugby!
Watch the full video taken here at Rugby this day on my channel or maybe somewhere below this description!

  • @nxea170202 Concidering my local main line is the WCML, you'd think this is normal for me, but it actually suprised me, how quick and amazing it looks when they climb up that bend!

  • @1madaboutguitar Well, there's only so much you can get out of a system that was lagerly built in Victorian times - all the reason for building HS2.

  • Great vid:-)

  • I'd hate to be drinking anything on that!

  • @trespire "Engineers today can also botched the job." What is that supposed to mean?

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz I. K. Brunell's billiard table is still and probably will remain amongst the best tracks in the UK, we shouldn't through all Victorian together in the same pot. Engineers today can also botched the job.

  • @growingup15 Acrion must be taken, but the goverments proposed HS2 is simply not the way. Its a rediculous proposal, same with Greenguage, wait, your in favour of the "Y" shaped Network?

  • @glitch4465 Reports today suggest that demand for rail travel is likely to double over the next 10 years - and it's already at its highest level since 1923, when the network was more or less at its peak! Consequently, much of the system is at or near capacity as it is - the WCML in particular is the busiest main line in Europe (if not the world) and is virtually full already, so HS2 is badly needed on capacity grounds if nothing else!

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz HS2? No way

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz The trains are good but the tracks SUCK!

  • @Inkyminkyzizwoz well i live in SC and i think this country when it comes to Transportation could do better. i mean If were such a Super power why not. take the advantage of our power name but right now China is looking pretty good. so is UAE and Japan. they are looking alot better off then america.
