Metallica gehören zu Rock am Ring wie die Stange zum Zelt. Und wenn dann eine Institution bei Rock am Ring Interviews gibt, dann werden die Mitglieder auf die verschiedenen Sender und Zeitschriften aufgeteilt. DASDING.tv bekam Bassist Rob. Der ist ne tighte Atze und erzählt von der Scheißkälte vor zwei Jahren, Nervosität bei Auftritten und dem neuen Metallica Album, das im September 2008 erscheinen wird.

Why do people hate Rob? Metallica picked him to play, he beat the others at the audition...not his fault...Cliffs dead, has been for years, let go, get over it, move on! Good on you Rob :)

I think Rob is a very nice guy, not only did he improve the band´s sound, but also seems to be grounded...and that´s good for the other, esp.Lars...

Honestly.. Rob is the best bassist metallica has ever had! and without him they probably would have split up already.

Rob made Metallica go back to their old roots , cause he wanted to play more of the old thrashy songs and i think that made metallica take the direction that lead to death magentic so rob provided a new fresh breeze to the band \m/

@Dominatorxxx master of puppets and ride the lightning which cliff played on was hardly thrash. cliff actually influenced the band to be more melodic in songwriting
