  • these are Dungeness Crabs - i think you can catch them along most of the Calif coast up to Alaska. Years ago they used to catch tons off of piers but they are much harder to catch off of a pier today, but they still do. My step dad who is from Olympia, Washington describes a time when he was a teenager that they would walk along the beach at low tide and just pick up the crabs. not like that anymore.

  • O my I would love to get some of those you shipping to UT

  • license? for this needed?

  • What kinds of crabs are these? They don't look like mud crabs or blue crabs. Btw, is the catch rate any different on a boat then on a pier? I've always wondered about that. Great job on your catch =)

  • Is that a Tom Cat? nice work.

    please post more details

  • So you threw the rest back ?

    Yea.... me too ;-)

  • is that boat a sea sport ? a friend a mine has one just like it and are those 28 inch pots. Im thinkin of getting a couple thanks awesome video !

  • While referring to them as crab or crabs are both grammatically correct, personally I prefer using the word crab because saying, "I caught crabs" just doesn't sound right. :)

  • no wonder i couldnt catch shit.u guys caught em all
