In this video you'll learn why your oven may not be heating properly.

Remember, parts are specific to your model and the ones shown today may not be the right parts for you. To get the right part for your oven, be sure to search http://www.partselect.com/ using your model number.

If you need help finding your model number, use our model number locator guide: http://www.partselect.com/model-number-locator+1+repair.htm.

Here are a few things you should check if your oven isn't heating:

1) Find out whether your oven has internal fuses (0:23)

2) Examine the bake element, it is the most common cause of a malfunctioning oven (0:40)

3) Inspect and test your oven sensor (1:10)

4) A problem with your temperature sensor will typically generate a fault code on the clock (1:51)

5) If your gas oven isn't heating, you'll want to check for signs of a defective oven igniter (2:10)

Now that you can identify what the problem could be and whether any parts will need to be replaced, visit PartSelect.com to order parts and find out more information about your specific repair.
