I can't wait to get my car done and on a dyno! I've got B303 cam, Edelbrock E-Street heads (2.02 int, 1.60 exh.) with 1.6 roller rockers, BBK SSI intake with 24 lbs./hr. injectors, double roller timing set, and Flowtech equal length long tubes. I'm aiming for about 350 to the ground with my 5 speed.

very good number, me in the past, my 89 made 255whp and 285wtq with more mod.
i had stock e7 heads, performer 5.0 intake, e303 cam, injector 24lbs, electric fans, 73mm C&L MAF, Throttle body 65mm, Underdrive Crank Pulley, K&N conical 9inch filter, Hooker Maximum Flow Muffler, Equal Lenght Headers, x-pipe, Aluminium driveshaft and the MSD 6AL Ignition box.
check my vid (now i guess my 89 have 32xwhp with my crane interceptor tuned w better cam, head and intake)

@78SilverBronco dont waste time and money in the feeble attempt to make power with e7's. Just because people do it doesn't make it a good or cost effective idea. For all the time you waste you can just work harder at your job and buy some trick flows and make 310 rwhp instead of 250. Not to mention shave some weight off the front end.

@Mustangbilljr You'll love the turbo. With only a Cobra intake, Hellion Turbo and 1.7 rockers, mine laid down 444.6 to the wheels and 537.8 lb/ft of torque to the shoes. You'll love the power man and that's with stock unported E7TEs. Enjoy! I have a few vids posted of mine. Cheers
Wow that is awesome numbers with E7 heads! I am thinking about porting mine and throwing in some larger valves. What cam are you running? How do you like the setup overall? So many people knock the E7 heads but if you take the time to port them right you can make some awesome power. Pretty amazing what 260-280hp at the wheels will do in a foxbody.

@78SilverBronco Thanks.... I'm running a stock cam in it, stock everything really except for obviously the porting, exhaust and TB. It's got the stock air intake tubing+ airbox, stock crank fan... I feel with an E-fan, longtubes, and a ported explorer intake over my ported stocker I could have made 10-20 more hp... Overall I was happy with the build and I accomplished what I set out to do and that was to hit 12's and look bone stock lol... Now I'm headed the turbo route though..

Great numbers for the E7TE (crappy) heads. I have owned 5 (still have two including a turbo 5.0) 5 liters and put aluminum heads on my old 93 coupe and had great results. However, I just hand ported my wife's 93 heads and have aftermarket flow numbers. With your heads and the numbers you have, you can get damn close to 300 RWHP with stock ported heads. Did you at least remove the thermactor bumps? Great job dude. Ignore the haters to by the way. They are everywhere on youtube.

@Stickman53fe Thanks!... Their "Thumper" ported E7's, I didn't do the work myself... Those numbers were also with a stock air intake, crank fan, and crappy shorty headers that have small leaks lol (FMS lost quality in their stuff over the years). So I think I could make at least 10-20 more with better parts but I'm going a different direction with the car as of now... Thinking of going with a Pony Down turbo kit and making over 400 instead lol...

Im not sure why they are so low thats really low at least you should be making like 280 and you cant be running 12s with that horsepower.

I did run 12's with that kind of power, a 12.93 @ 104.98 w/ a 1.8 60' to be exact... And how are my numbers low, a stock 5.0 mustang is rated at 225hp 300tq at the flywheel? I put more power at the wheels. Check out The Corral Forums, and see for yourself at what relatively stock combinations put down. I'm making very solid numbers for my setup. Like I said also, every dyno is different.
