  • If it evens out, what is the point of doing it? Also, you have to remember that pollution is produced when the batteries are made AND also when they are recycled. What we have to find is a different energy source to power our vehicles other than batteries and Gasoline/Ethanol. They aren't the answer.

  • Even after the even, hybrids are more attractive. And, when I say "even out", I mean to say that hybrids are more expensive, but don't need to be replaced for a very long time, unlike gasoline cars.

  • Do you really think it's any better for the environment? What abou the batteries that hold the charge? They have to be replaced and I bet it takes energy to recycle them...

  • They last well over 8 years. Even then, with the amount of money and energy you save, it evens out.

  • cool! i would like to have one of those...except not. i'm saving up for a muxtang convertible, either a new one, this will be in 2008, or a 1964.5-73 with, of course, the V8!

  • You will need barrels to fill her up. And Ford has really bad quality.:|

  • this is hybrid, not electronic car. No such thing as all "electric mode" on highway

  • LOWEST GRIP WITH CIVIC 2007-PRESENT.

  • Im just wondering if honda civic hybrid owners favored those wheels over stock si wheels as I am planning on buying an si and making it look like a hybrid. I just dont like the little street racer kids messing with me all the time. Besides I prefer the hybrid wheels over the si wheels. But regardless of that do you think a hybrid owner would trade wheels for the better look or keep the hybrid wheels for their usefulness

  • The Honda still does not fall in the class of "true Hybrid" This being a vehicle that can run on each of its power plants alone. Honda uses a engine design to close valves to allow the electric motor to turn the engine and drive wheels at the same time during "all electric" the gas engine is still turning. Ford, Toyota and GM in electric mode will NEVER show engine speed RPM as they can run true electric with no engine movement. Hondas are still not a true Hybrid :)

  • wow it really is like a game , well the bad thing is im going to a 1997 S14 drifter and a 2002 Police interceptor to a gas saver hahah , this will be fun

  • If you take it really easy! Also depends on weather and traffic! I keep my eye on the economy gauge all the time, like a game!

  • 702 miles on 1 tank of gas??? Im getting my used 06 in 3 days and am i really going to get that much gas/

  • Just an update, my '06 Civic Hybrid I purchased in March '06 now (1/19/09) has approx. 64,000 miles on it now. Battery appears as good as new. At this time there has been zero maintenance to any IMA component. Not much more than oil changes, tire rotations, new tires, and changing out the CVT fluid (I believe only once).

  • 1 question. If you're running on motor mode, (0 fuel consumption) and assuming the battery is fully charged, approximately how long could you run on this mode?

  • <3 i love u 7
