  • Traction Control sound?

  • does someone knows the top speed at interlagos in this race?

  • i just realised that Hamilton had 70p with 7 races to go in 2007, when Kimi had only 52p. That means that with 7 podium finishes by Kimi, he took the title with his 58p of 70p possible. That's crazy. Hamilton only collected 39p in the last 7 races.

  • idiot (alonso, not you)

  • @ali1278 Yes I too one point shit !

  • ohh man i wanted massa to win in 2008

  • i couldnt agree with u more

  • Lol, now you are talking out of ur arse! Since when has a 3 stop strategy made anyone quicker? If you remember 2007, Mclaren had issues with tyre wear and were worried about the super-softs wearing out too quickly in the heat, hence the 3 stop strategy. No doubt the 1st corner error, followed by the hydraulic failure & the potential the tyre issues - all contributed to the team forgetting to re-fuel him on his final pit stop, meaning they had to bring him in again (4th) for a splash & dash.

  • yeh but he did drive the car so...

the hydraulic thing was pure un-lucky but without the 3 stop strategy at brazil he wouldnt have been as fast so wouldnt done as well as he did.

  • Yup thats correct, but my point was that it wasnt "rookie mistakes" that cost Hamilton the title,

@ Shanghai Mclaren ignored repeated warnings from Bridgestone that Hamiltons tyres were trashed, only the 1st corner at Brazil could be classed as driver error, yet regardless those 2 incidents he was still on course to take the title. Ultimately it was the hydraulic failure followed by Mclarens 3 stop strategy that decided his fate.
