Sailor father surprises his son during class... Very emotional. You can find more at http://picenhance.com

**EDIT February 27, 2008 - I have been recieving tons of messages asking me about the song in the background. So here you go: The song is from the soundtrack to American Beauty written by Thomas Newman and naturally it's called American Beauty. There is a little bit mixed up version of the same song on the soundtrack called Any Other Name. Hope that helps. BTW - I disabled comments because of the assholes who had nothing positive to say.

**Update October 22, 2008 - I have received hundreds of messages about me disabling the comments. Well, no more - Comments are back up and I don't care if its positive or negative. Just make sure you vote down the negative ones.

And to the 43 other of you that have ripped the video and then reposted it back on YouTube, whats the point? Its already here - This is my contribution to youtube, don't take that away from me.

  • @806TO713 I am not against speaking for a bigger cause, and I am certainly not bashing anyone's chosen political beliefs. But do you not think it's inappropriate to make something political out of a six year old happy to see his father? I DID listen to them speak out; I was not going to say anything until I saw what you were referencing. It's not that your comments are negative (they aren't), but it's that you are making this video a political statement with your comments. It shouldn't be.

  • @Stenir I understand what you are saying but I speak for a bigger cause and raising awareness to an important issue that people don't know about. My comments are not negative but they are in good faith. The only reason I am as passionate as I am about Ron Paul is because I have taken the time to listen to the troops who have the courage to speak out about how they really feel about the wars. "Defend this country, bring our troops home" -Ron Paul

/watch?v=7ILQBns8Ouk <-- Listen to them speak out

  • ;( sadd

  • @Stenir Woops. I meant "he" would never have to worry about "his" father. Sorry, been watching lots of these videos.

  • @806TO713 While in some way the video has to do with war (in that the father was coming home from one), starting off a comment outright attacking war itself ("war is meaningless, people") on a video that is not about war and then proceeding to discuss Ron Paul makes it sound like you are saying "See? If we had Ron Paul in office, she would never have to worry about her father being away." Why can't the comments on such a heartwarming video be about how happy she is to see him and nothing more?

  • @Stenir Not saying that at all. There are not groups or organizations of troops supporting any other politician except Ron Paul. The soldiers who support him are passionate and they are actually participating in a march to the washington memorial to honor and show their support for him. Theres about 800 of them so far. Ron Paul is the only candidate who has troops actively speaking out to show their support for him. It's truly amazing and remarkable, their passion is off the charts.
