Proposition 19 Debate - To Legalize, Regulate and Tax Marijuana or Not?

KMVT hosts a non-partisan debate on Prop 19 for the 2010 California Election. Police chiefs Joseph McNamara (yes on prop 19) and Peter Dunbar (no on prop 19) argue points on marijuana use and the impacts of legalizing marijuana.

This Proposition will appear on the November 2, 2010 Ballot.

Prop 19: Legalization, Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana

The Question: Should California legalize the possession and cultivation of marijuana for personal use of adults 21 years and older, and allow state and local governments to regulate and tax related commercial activities?

yeah. the bus driver could be under the influence of pot. but it could be alcohol too. or marajuana anyway. legalising it means we have to pay 30,000 dollars in taxes to fight a war against something you cant contain. its like getting into a fistfihgt with the wind.
