"official" history books that were studied in the turkish schools tried to impose the thing that 12 islands on the aegean sea and the cyprus belonged to us.Turkish governmetns always looked for for a reason to get them back and in 1974,they sent the troops to cyprus.

@mreuphrates I agree with you that racism never helped anybody but the whole 'military junta' in Greece being the reason that Turkey invaded, is a lie. There were Taksim (division) papers drawn up by the Turks since 1948. They just took advantage of the greeks intervention and used that as their cover
