Male lion chasing an unsuspecting hyena

A hyena trots toward a clearing where a male lion happens to be. The hyena doesn't notice the lion until the very last second, when the lion starts to chase.

I bet if tourists stayed a distance away from this encounter, probably the hyena would ´ve felt the lion few seconds earlier than in the clip. Apparently it ´s gotten used to tourists noises too close, without paying attention to what would cause these noises; therefore it did hear the lion approaching, and thought it was the tourists. And here is interference with nature.

Great scene in the wild to witness, but one thing i will never understand is what makes tourists/onlookers laugh in a situation of this magnitude.. its not a game this is life and death scenario
