portugal made history. in the portugal team there were doctors, students, gardeners, waiters, business men ... this is not a professional team. this was the first amateur team qualifying to a RWC. im really proud of them. GO PORTUGAL LOBOS

Kudos to Portugal in the National Anthem, they gave their hearts out in the World Cup, you can see their emotion on their faces, was their dream to compete in the World Cup :)

Its is not a matter if its their sport or not...

They had a good world cup..they lost but they standed their ground and showed good rugby...

I remember the times where sport was not a business...

and if you visit Portugal and look at their games (rugby) you will see passion for the sport and if you look good you will see quality...

Look at their sevens ranking...

@existennz No They weren't Romania, Russia, Namibia, there was plenty of nations, and clearly the isn't gonna happen again, its highly unlikely for even a amateur team to lose by 120+ so good-luck to Portugal but i don't think its their sport to be hounest? there a better soccer nations and their choices to kick the ball even in NZ territory was clearly proving :)

Portugal was the only amateur team in the world cup,they played rugby, play with hand ,they made a fair game, even the all blacks players respected them for their game...
