I believe, "The Bodeans," are singing background, as one of them accompany's him on "Somewhere Down That Crazy River," They are pretty good on their own.

Just plain excellent! As wonderful as The BAND was, this solo from Jamie Robert Robertson beats all they ever played, and that is no small feat! A once in a lifetime achievement, perhaps, if so, I for one am all too glad that I encountered it! This album, that Showdown From Big Sky came from, was for my money one of the best rock albums made in the 1980's. Robbie is an unsung genius.
