  • Just plain excellent! As wonderful as The BAND was, this solo from Jamie Robert Robertson beats all they ever played, and that is no small feat! A once in a lifetime achievement, perhaps, if so, I for one am all too glad that I encountered it! God bless you Robbie and any and all of the original BAND, this puppy will continue to SMOKE AD INFINITUM! Thanks to: kurdts for the upload, You Tube for the space, and to Robbie Robertson Fans worldwide REJOICE AND ROCK ON SHINDIGGERS, and carry on! PEACE

  • This album, that Showdown From Big Sky came from, was for my money one of the best rock albums made in the 1980's. Robbie is an unsung genius.

  • Tony Levin and Manu Katché's performances are great on this album. Such a talented rhythm section! Produced by Daniel Lanois as well. Every song is amazing!

  • this song really uplifted me when it came out in oz

  • Love the band.... love Robbie's solo stuff too !!!

  • Robbie Robertson is only half-Indian, his father was a Russian Yid but he only sings Indian songs

  • what a chorus

  • Great song. Thanks for uploading.

  • A true poet/writer of prose & heartfelt chords of spirit. My words fall short for the gifts this man chose to bring to bear his very soul with. Please listen & read the words to His "Peyote Healing Song". And you've got to love "The Bodeans"!

Why is my comment being delayed in posting? To me it is just a common courtesy to inform the uploader of a video I embed in an article in my Blog. This seems to be happening with every person I notify.

  • I believe, "The Bodeans," are singing background, as one of them accompany's him on "Somewhere Down That Crazy River," They are pretty good on their own.

    Peace.

    Rock

  • @wolfkarel The White Buffalo has shown up
