@krazycore Good question - actually it happens either way, with the mother cow either standing or lying down.

thanks for the post, amazing to watch but feel sorry for the cow for giving birth in such a noisy environment....I would probably just hold it in!

The calf would have likely died without the assistance of the men, and it was a sight to see for the people that were in attendance.
