@hohohee1 I'm not judging you, as I can understand how frustrating it can be when puppies are set on "destructo mode" & not everyone has bottomless pockets to pay for training & setting up a dog pen, etc. I just hope that she made it to a good home & has a good life. There is a lesson to be learned through this tho'; perhaps instead of a pup, you can find (& save from the needle o' death) an older & calmer doggie at the pound or through a rescue group. Good luck 2 U.

@kerry5101971 i am not joking ... i gave her away as she was "too destructive" and I excercised her for HOURS a day!! she was still full of energy after hours of running and walking! and destroyed the whole backyard! MY whoe family was pissed off ... and i sold her for 100$ via craigslist

@hohohee1 really? Please tell me you are joking or at least know or horoughly researched the new owners. Esp. if you live in the mid-west, as a lot of folks lie & say they want puppies/dogs, kittens/cats as pets, then sell them to medical research companies, where if they're lucky, they're killed right away & have their innards injected with silicone & dies to be used for "teaching." I hope you at least followed up on your dog if you did give it away as ppl do all sorts of sick things for $

@kerry5101971 lmfao i gave her away

@hohohee1 How's the pup now, almost a year later? I have a 9 wk. old & she is a teething, nibbling machine. Her preference for destruction are wires & we just got some Bitter Apple & a plethora of toys, esp. teething toys to help her. Was your pup a "whiner?" That's the only habit of hers I truly hope stops or can be broken. She's still a baby, so we don't do much to correct it. Here's hoping your WGSD pup has grown into a well adjusted doggie.

I'm a proud owner of a 9 wk. WGSD that was Amish raised & wish folks would learn more about the positives of "non-puppy mill" Amish breeders & see how much time, money, effort, & love is put into their dogs. Before you paint a whole culture with a broad stroke; get informed, be educated & talk to the breeders, visit the breeders, see the mama (& sire if possible) & the pups before buying/adopting. I love our Heidi Edelweiss & I appreciate the family who had raised her. Amish doesn't = evil!
