Decent review.

However, it doesn't comment on the fact that it's possible to replace the ROM and acheive better performance all around.

This also enables the use of the long-press on the home key to bring up the recently used apps, among other things.

So the Hero gets better and better all the time, as a lot of people are developing on the OS.

i have a tmobile htc hero which is unlocked but if i update it to 2.1 will i lose my unlock?

Just upgraded to 2.1. No lag at all. This phone is cool. I have it for 3 month and I'm very satisfied. Android & HTC is the best choice.
