@o82774, well i will argree with you on bale. i thought i was the only one how didnt care for him as batman. all he does is yell, even when scenes dont call for it, scenes which need batman to be cold, calm & methodical. he cant really do that as batman. batman has many levels to his character & bale cant seem to reach anymore then the one. i mean there are times when batman should talk & act like keaton. batman's not just a crazy "angry" person all the time.

Bale was like a non-entity in his OWN movie though. I mean it was like Keaton getting upstaged by Jack Nicholson all over again but worse. At least Keaton was still the MAN. He got the girl KILLED ALL OF HIS ENEMIES and saved the day. Bale was a chump who watched all his friends and loved ones get killed and destroyed (with curiously no emotional reaction either WTF?) and let guy responsible get away.

Thanks for being level headed and cool.

For me BECAUSE it was so expensive its fail is magnified. If it was just some "b movie" then it could be excused on a certain level. But that's secondary. Primarily I really hold it against the film that it's director (and fans) tout it's REALISM and their was not a single realistic aspect about the whole film on any level. But this is my humble opinion and that little bat-cycle thingy was cool lol.

@o82774 , why would i get mad at your opinion? i mean there are people who think House of the Dead & Battlefield Earth are the greatest movies ever. im not mad at them either. lol but i will say that there is noooooo way it or any movie you say for that matter can be the worst ever made when it made that much money. when a movie brings in titanic money, it obviously did something right. but like i said everyone has their own opinion.

Agreed on all points. Goyer basically tried to destroy the Bade franchise and on a certain level he succeeded. I heard of the rumored B4. Goyer said he has divested of it (HOORAY). But Wesly is in jail lol. Sigh...

I love Wesley and his Blade is living legend status BUT Wes effed up when he turned on Del Toro to ally with Goyer (who betrayed him). Del Toro is a n artist and B2 was his masterpiece. He revered Wes loke a god and Wes pissed on him for Judas Goyer. Dummy.

Please do not get upset with me sir. But I personally think that the dark night was one of the worst films of any genre ever made. Nolan is clueless on how to direct action (especially fight scenes!) so as action flicks TDK was a total fail. Nolan also has no idea on how to construct plots propelled by any form of logic or sense. Worst is that his characters are apparently all morally bankrupt (except for his villains) and his visuals are non-existant.
