@kinggaryy You don't have any idea what you're talking about! lol For sure, if Bruce would've used his "one inch punch" against YOU, standing against a wall, he would have crushed some bones! :P
The same technique is used to break concrete blocks & don't tell us your body is tougher than that!!! lol
If you are locked up in a fighting stance (idiot), against this punch, your body will break somewhere. This is simply a demonstration of the power held in the technique! :D
if u watch carefully the man in the white clothing is really gonna fall because of his stance which is, that both of his feet r parallel with each other of course karate is also not effective in fighting...heres how u counter one inch punch of JKD,, just simply use the fighting stance...that is of course , place ur one foot forward and find ur balance....simple f u hve brains and not fooled by bruce lee
you dont counter this scenario as its a demonstartion of power on a none telegraphed punch which people just couldnt grasp power without swinging ya arms about.
yuor right about the stance's i notice this too but again its not the point, its just that people always want amazing stuff so they watch the magicians other hand.
if the person being hit didnt give or move they would have broken ribs etc.
trouble is why are you watching that guy watch bruce he's the demo ;)
karate isnt effective?? ok now normally i am against using MMA as an example but you seem to be one of those guys who loves MMA, so one great example is....todays Light heavyweight champ...what style is he known for? also im sure if you had a good stance and bruce hit you from a close distance, you might not fly backwards, but you would GO DOWN. im sorry you cant just say the man was a fake , because plenty of people would feel it when he hits...
Bruce is not putting everything he has into it. If he did I tell you that guy would not be getting up so easy. Wing chun is nasty. One inch punch is also not used often in fighting. More like a bunch of punches coming at you.

Bruce took bits and pieces from many martial groups until he could define his own style. Thus, JKD was born.
Just tap into the energy in your body through practice - you will be taking the first steps on "your path".
